A woven filter shrouds the image of two people. It allows for partial vision of the image, but changes how it originally existed. No matter which way you peek over or around or through, you can never get a good look at what’s behind the barrier. Utilizing the transparency of the spaced weave technique, the weaving rests above a charcoal-illustrated image while still granting visual access to it.
